
Philosophy
Enstar Capital was established in 2004 by Simon H Lyons and Farid Alizadeh. The firms’ core business strategy was originally focussed on pan European real estate markets with a principal focus on the German, Swiss and Turkish commercial sectors. Enstar Capital’s strategy since 2007 has been to focus on mixed-use developments and investments in Central London. This continues to be the firms’ raison d’être as we seek investment opportunities throughout Zone 1 with a particular emphasis in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Due to our small board of directors and financial strength we have the ability to make swift investment decisions that can be implemented rapidly.
The Enstar Capital strategy and mindset is based on three key objectives:

- A focus on the tenant/buyer and desire to improve their experience beyond their original perception
- A determination to execute decisions rapidly to maximize the development and investment opportunities available including using some of London’s most reputable professional teams

The firm operates a meticulous “due-diligence” process in identifying investment opportunities, thereby allowing the team to accurately analyse the risk-adjusted returns. This allows us to more effectively and appropriately structure transactions to ensure we outperform the wider market. We also insist on co-investing with any partners, as we don’t believe that only investors should bear the risk in any transaction.
Enstar Capital is well positioned to take advantage of current market conditions. The firm has successfully developed many relationships over the years with banks and institutions and it is now being rewarded with otherwise difficult to obtain funding.
